If you searched for TRI3D software, you are probably after one thing: your saree or fabric shown on a model, without arranging a photoshoot. TRI3D is one way to do that. This post says what it does, using only what its own pages state, and then what the alternatives offer instead.
What TRI3D is
TRI3D, also written Tri3D, is an Indian company incubated at IIT Madras with NASSCOM. Its Fab3D software "converts flat images of Indian traditional garments, saree in particular, into photorealistic 3D images", according to trade press. A photo of a saree is draped on a model or mannequin automatically, and unstitched fabric can be shown as a finished garment. Its site today describes a fabric visualiser: upload flat fabric or home decor images, pick a template and a background, then export. It lists 200+ fabric templates and 50+ home decor templates, bulk upload of "hundreds" of samples, and lighting choices such as soft natural light and dramatic shadows.
Its pages also say "no usage fees" and "full image rights included" — that is about using the images, not the software price — and mention direct API integration without giving details. No prices or plans appear on the pages we read.

When TRI3D fits, and when an alternative does
- You sell fabric, home textiles or decor and want them shown in a room or on a product
- You want a licensed tool run through a company that supports Indian garments
- You are happy to get a quote or demo before you decide
- You want to see the price before you talk to anyone
- You want a real-looking model wearing your exact saree, with the pallu where you want it
- You want to try it free today, or have a team make the shots for you
Vastralook — AI saree draping with the price on the page
Drape Studio gives you the saree-and-blouse workflow and a cut workspace where you set the pallu end, grain and repeat lines yourself, then draws the saree on a model. Catalogue Studio shoots every garment on every model in every style in one batch. A 1K image you generate costs about ₹20–₹25. A Create order, where we make the shots, is 8 credits at 1K and 10 at 2K — about ₹8–₹10 and ₹10–₹13 — ready in about 3–4 minutes. Top-up credits never expire, and you can ask for 50% of a shot's credits back if it missed. Your logo can go on every shot.
SareeViz — pay per image
A pay-per-image saree tool: ₹10 at 1K and ₹15 at 2K plus GST, with credits valid 90 days. See our SareeViz comparison for the full numbers.
Photta and FASHN are broader clothing tools; both are covered in our best-AI-saree-tools ranking.
What is TRI3D?
TRI3D, also written Tri3D, is an Indian company incubated at IIT Madras. Its Fab3D software turns flat photos of sarees, unstitched fabric and home decor into draped, 3D-style product images.
What is the best TRI3D alternative for saree sellers?
It depends on what you need. For a model wearing your saree with control over the pallu and repeats, and prices you can see, Vastralook. For a pay-per-image wallet, SareeViz (₹10 at 1K plus GST). TRI3D itself stays the better fit for fabric and home decor visuals.
Is TRI3D free?
TRI3D's pages say "no usage fees" for the images and "full image rights included", but they list no software price or free trial. Ask the company for a quote or demo.
How much does TRI3D cost?
We could not find a public price on TRI3D's pages on 11 October 2026. Vastralook publishes its prices: packs from ₹250, with a Create order from 8 credits a shot.
Is AI saree draping the same as 3D draping software?
Not quite. Template-based 3D tools place your saree or fabric on a fixed model or mannequin. AI draping, like Drape Studio, generates a model wearing your saree from your photo, and lets you set the pallu end, grain and repeat lines first.
Can I put my logo on the photos?
Yes — on Vastralook your logo can go on every shot.
