A DrapeIt alternative depends on what you value. DrapeIt (drapeit.me, branded Drape.Studio) sells prepaid packs from ₹540 and offers a managed service. Vastralook offers mark-the-cut and pallu-line controls for sarees, 4K output and Create orders. Pick DrapeIt for a published small pack and a managed option; pick Vastralook for saree control.
People search for a DrapeIt alternative because the two products overlap on sarees and Indian ethnic wear, and the names are close: DrapeIt's brand on its pages is Drape.Studio, and ours includes a studio called Drape Studio. They are separate companies. This page compares the two using DrapeIt's own pages, which we read on 15 October 2026.

2. What a DrapeIt pack costs per image
Dividing DrapeIt's published prices by its published image counts gives about ₹13.50 per 1K image on Starter (₹540 divided by 40), ₹12 on Value (₹1,440 divided by 120) and about ₹11.10 on Super Value (₹3,000 divided by 270). At 2K the same packs work out to ₹20, ₹18 and about ₹16.70 per image. DrapeIt says a 2K image "uses a little more balance than 1K" without stating the ratio, but its own counts imply 40 to 27, which is about 1.5 times.
On Vastralook, an image you generate yourself is about ₹20–₹25 at 1K or ₹40–₹50 at 2K, depending on the pack, and a Create order at 2K is about ₹10–₹13, usually ready in 3–4 minutes. Monthly plans work out around ₹20–₹22 per 1K image. A 4K image costs 2 times a 1K one. These are not like for like: DrapeIt does not say whether its prices include GST, and neither product's output has been compared by us on the same garment. Compare on your own SKU.
3. Where DrapeIt is the better choice
- You want a managed service. DrapeIt describes one where the team takes responsibility for output quality and consistency, aimed at larger volumes. We do not publish an equivalent.
- You want clearly published packs with image counts on the page, and a no-lock-in statement. DrapeIt states both.
- You sell bridal or kids ethnic wear and want a dedicated page and portfolio for it. DrapeIt has category pages for both.
- You like a guided app flow with few decisions. DrapeIt describes a three-step browser flow.
4. Where Vastralook is the better choice
- Saree control. In Drape Studio you place the cut on the fabric photo, draw the pallu line and set repeat lines. DrapeIt says it preserves the pallu and border, but describes no way to mark them.
- 4K output. Vastralook offers 1K, 2K and 4K; DrapeIt publishes 1K and 2K.
- Choice of how a shot is made: generate it yourself, or place a Create order as Instant, Budget or Standard.
- Credits are not tied to one product type, so you can use them on sarees and other garments in Catalogue Studio.
5. Which DrapeIt alternative should you pick?
- Decide on managed or self-serve
If you want a team to own the quality at volume, ask DrapeIt about its managed service. If you want to control each shot yourself, use a self-serve studio.
- Check your garment mix
Mostly sarees where the pallu must land exactly: test Drape Studio. Bridal, kids or kurtas: test one SKU in each tool.
- Run both free trials on one garment
Compare the border, colour, pallu and a second image of the same model.
What is the best DrapeIt alternative?
