To sell clothes on Flipkart you register on Flipkart Seller Hub, which we could not read without a login, so check the documents list there. For the photos, Fynd Commerce's documentation of Flipkart's rules asks for JPEGs of at least 1000 × 1000 px, light grey for apparel, and front and back views.
How to sell clothes on Flipkart: the photo side
- Register in Seller Hub
Use Flipkart's own sign-up and follow its documents checklist. We could not read it ourselves.
- Plan photos per variant
A vendor guide says each variant needs separate images, and that low-quality images are a cause of rejection after listing. Plan for every colour.
- Shoot the mandatory angles
Fynd lists front and back views as mandatory for apparel and side as optional. Use the same model and skin tone throughout; mannequins are not allowed.
- Add images by URL in the template
Fynd's FAQ says images are added by putting their URLs into the Flipkart template. You can reorder them after upload.
- If you have a brand, prepare approval images
A vendor guide says branded products need product images with branding, packaging images and logo files.

Preparing clothing photos with Vastralook
Catalogue Studio takes every garment except sarees, which go through Drape Studio (which has the Flipkart preset, for sarees and lehengas). Catalogue Studio has no preset, so choose a light grey studio style, 3:4 and 2K yourself, and use View to check the style first. A 2K shot at 3:4 is about 1792 × 2400 px, which clears 1000 × 1000; a 1K shot, about 896 × 1200 px, is under on width. Three poses of one garment on one model is three shots, since a batch is garments × models × styles: about ₹30–₹38 across our credit packs on a Create order (about ₹10–₹13 each), ready in about 3–4 minutes per shot. Direct generation is about ₹40–₹50 for 2K. Use the same model for every colour.
